PANIAI, suarapapua.com – Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe firmly appealed, “Be careful if you want to carry out any kind of crime in Papua now for in Papua, whatever happens cannot be hidden anymore.”
This was conveyed by the Governor in his briefing to community in Paniai, after inaugurating the new elected regent and deputy regent of Paniai on Friday (11/23/2018), in the courtyard of the Paniai regent’s office, Madi.
“Anything happens such killing, tribal war or whatever it is in Papua today, people in Europe, America, Canada would know it right away in the same day. So all of us must be careful when do something in Papua, especially when it is about crime,” Said Lukas.
In order to avoid crime to happens, in his second term leading Papua, he was ready to work optimally to defend the interest of the Papuan in accordance to the visions; rise, independent, prosperous and just.
“In the past term, our work may had been less unfair and less optimal. In this second term, we would make justice happen in Papua. For I hope in the future, the Papuan would no longer live in suffer, pain and starvation,” He added.
In order for him to work optimally for the Papuan, he requested prayer support from all Papuan. He also asked all regents the same.
“All the regents, let us make a commitment to protect the people. Support them to be able to face the challenges of world development. Let’s us together make a new history for Papua,” He hoped.
