JAYAPURA, SUARAPAPUA.com — The West Papua National Liberation Army (TPNPB) has claimed responsibility for the deprivation of four long barrel firearms. The long barrel firearms are the inventory of Ndeotadi 99 Police Station, Paniyai Police Precinct in Paniyai, which took place on Friday night (5/15/2020).
As TPNPB statement made by Sebby Sambom, the TPNPB Spokesperson to suarapapua.com, Sunday (05/17/2020), stated that the attack on the Police Station in Ndeotadi was carried out by TPNPB troops, led by Anton Tabuni.
Sebby said that Anton Tabuni was a young force who led the attack on the 99 Ndeotadi police post, Bogobaida District, Paniyai Regency, Papua on Friday 15 May 2020 at 22:00 pm.
“I and my troops attacked the post. We deprivation the weapons because the Indonesian military took our weapons in Tembagapura, so we attacked and took back. After that, I returned with the troops to Tembagapura,” Sebby said as Anton Tabuni told him in the statement.
He continued that Anton requested the TNI / Polri whose weapons be deprivation to pursue them (Anton Tabuni) to Tembagapura for the fight there. He then advised the TNI / Polri authorities not to torture civilians in Bogobaida District, Paniyai Regency. “They are ordinary people. We are TPNPB troops under the leadership of the TPNPB National Operations Commander, Lekkagak Telenggen is responsible,” Anton said.
Sebby also admitted that the confiscation of weapons was justified by Lekagak Telenggen, Commander of TPNPB National Operations that the action was carried out on his orders.
“It is true that I sent them to attack there. As the leader of the war and Goliath Tabuni as commander in charge of four weapons and victims of police officers at the 99 Ndeotadi police post, Bogobaida Paniyai district,” Sebby said as Lekkagak’s statement.
Sebby stated that the action carried out by TPNPB at the Police station was clearly carried out by his team, not the KKB that was alleged so far.
