JAYAPURA, SUARAPAPUA.com— The West Papua National Liberation Army (TPNPB) of the Free Papua Organization (OPM) Kodap III Ndugama, claimed to have attacked the TNI post at the Keneyam Baru market, Nduga on Saturday, 5 September 2020.
The attack was carried out by Kodap III troops under Brigend Egianus Kogeya and the field Commander, Perek Jelas Kogeya.
Sebby Sambom, spokesman for TPNPB OPM said that during the attack, TPNPB troops Kodap III at 4 am, Saturday, September 5, 2020, surrounds the TNI Post at Baru Market Keneyam, the capital of Nduga Regency.
“During the first attack, the first 8 TNI members of the troops were killed on the spot and the next shot was on the TNI Post without counter-attack from the enemy from inside their permanent Post until 5:30 am,” Sebby Sambom explained through a press release received by suarapapua.com, Sunday (6/9/2020).
Sebby said, that during the attack, there were no retaliatory shots on counter-back from TNI troops at TPNPB Kodap III troops until the time they withdrew from the location.
Sebby admitted this was also confirmed by the Operation Commander of Kodap III Ndugama, Major Pemne Kogeya, and Commander of Kodap III, Bridgen Egianus Kogeya. They said that they had received reports from the troops on the field who were led by Perek Jelas Kogeya.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Christian F.R Ireeuw, Dandim 1715/Yahukimo who supervise the Yahukimo and Nduga Regions when confirmed by suarapapua.com said that the information was a hoax (untrue) information.
