JAYAPURA, SUARAPAPUA.com —Agustinus Duwitau (23) is a young Catholic catechist who served as a preacher at the Emondi church, Bilogai Parish, Timika Diocese, Papua on 7 October 2020.

After being shot, the victim then ran towards the forest to save himself. Then was evacuated by the School Principal of SD YPPK Bilogai, Marthen Tipagau [a member of the Intan Jaya DPRD], and a number of people.
After being evacuated, the victim is currently receiving medical treatment at the Pratama Intan Jaya Regional Hospital.
Kristianus Tebay, Director of the Intan Jaya Pratama Hospital, when confirmed by the media, confirmed that the victim was under medical treatment at the Hospital.
“It is true. The victim is currently undergoing treatment, ” Tebai told suarapapua.com.

He also said that the Regent, Deputy Regent, Thomas Sondegau [member of the Provincial DPR], the Titigi Parish Council, the Bilogai Parish Council, and some families had visited the hospital where the victim was being treated.
